How to Use Auto Battle System in Honkai Star Rail When you enter a combat encounter in Honkai Star Rail, you have the option to use Auto Battle. In combat, you are given the responsibility to choose the actions of your characters. Each character has their own turn. Once all characters in an encounter finish their turn, thatâs the end of a Cycle. However, sometimes you know that your party of characters is strong enough to defeat enemies without much effort. This is when Auto Battle comes into play. Here are the steps to turn on Auto Battle for combat encounters in Honkai Star Rail Find an enemy and engage in combat with it. Once in combat, find the Auto-Battle button on the top right of the screen. There are 3 buttons here, The Auto Battle button looks like an hourglass on its side. It is usually the 2nd or the center one. To manually decide which skills your character does, click this button again if you want to turn it off. Make sure that you only use Auto Battle in Honkai Star Rail when you are confident you can win the combat encounter with your characters. When you finish the first Simulated Universe mission, you can proceed through the game with Auto-Battle on. Like with most turn-based games, thereâs also an auto-battle feature for more menial fights when you need to turn your brain off and just grind instead. However, you donât unlock the auto-battle feature immediately. Hereâs how to unlock and then turn on auto-battle in Honkai Star Rail. Youâll unlock these features after completing Hertaâs first Simulated World, a tutorial sequence for the gameâs weekly roguelike mission. This will turn on auto-battle and progress the battle automatically for you, meaning you wonât have to input any of your own attacks or skills. This button will use up any skill points and Ultimate charge that you have available, so donât use this feature if you need to carefully plan out your attacks. Finally, the leftmost button speeds up your battle to about twice the normal speed. This will make your Honkai Star Rail battles faster, but you wonât exactly be able to appreciate some of the animations of your characters this way. For story-based boss battles, these features will turn off automatically, but you can turn them back on during the fight. Auto-battling is generally only useful for fights where you know youâll reign victorious, as they can be inefficient with your Honkai Star Rail skill points and Ultimates. Be sure to only use auto-battles in grindy HSR fights, such as when you challenge a Calyx.
